2. Donate Items
Here is a list of items we can always use! Contact us to arrange pick-up/drop-off, or if you have other items you think we could use!
- Any old linens, blankets, clothes, towels, or other materials (used to make hammocks and other cozy sleep spots!). Fleece and flannel are especially good!
- Substrate ( Hemp pellet litter, CareFresh or Fresh4Life natural paper bedding, recycled newspaper litter pellets )
- Rat food (Oxbow adult rat), bags of grains (oats, buckwheat, barley)
- Large rat cages and accessories (ropes, hammocks, toys, water bottles)
3. Volunteer Your Time
Here are some examples of ways you can donate your time:
- At the rescue helping to play with/socialize rats, feed them, etc.
- Volunteer drivers to transport rats to/from their foster home, or picking up large donations.
- High school students looking to get volunteer hours.

6. Donations
A big challenge with rescues is often securing enough donations towards an Emergency Veterinary Fund. We are grateful for any/every contribution. No donation is too small, and it all adds up!
